As of September 28, 2026: every row checked against the linked filing that day. Window: through March 31, 2027. IPOs priced since April 2026 with a value of at least $1 billion at the IPO price, plus the employers we cover. Company names identify the filings and imply no affiliation. No employee tender offer with a public deadline was announced for this window as of September 28, 2026. Tender offers for the shares of public companies, such as acquisitions and exchange offers, are filed on EDGAR but are routinely extended, so we point to the filing rather than list a deadline that may move before our next update.
The situation
A date is permission to sell, not a plan.
Stock pay runs on dates set in documents most holders never open: the underwriting agreement behind an IPO lock-up, the plan text that fixes an ESPP purchase date. This calendar puts the next six months of those dates in one place. Each row names its source, usually a final prospectus filed as Form 424(b)(4), a plan document or an annual report, and we read every one before listing it.
We include U.S. IPOs priced since April 2026 whose value at the IPO price was at least $1 billion, plus the employers our planning pages cover. A date we could not confirm in a filing is left off rather than estimated. When a release depends on an earnings report that has not been scheduled, the table says so.
Treat each date as the start of a decision. A lock-up ending removes the underwriters’ restriction; your company’s trading window, your tax lots and your own sell rule decide what happens next.
Why it’s complex
Five things a date does not tell you
A release is not an open window
For current employees, the insider trading policy usually decides the day. A lock-up that ends after quarter-end but before results can fall inside a closed window.
Reading your lock-upSome lock-ups end early
X-Energy and HawkEye 360 lock-ups were scheduled for October and November, but blackout clauses ended both on September 1 and 2, 2026, each announced in a Form 8-K. Underwriters can also waive a lock-up at any time.
A staged lock-up, date by dateYour lots decide the tax
Each lot carries its own basis and holding period. Long-term lots and recent vests are taxed differently on the same day, so the order of sale matters as much as the date.
After a big gainA trading plan needs lead time
Employees who are not officers or directors must wait 30 days after adopting a Rule 10b5-1 plan before it can sell. That cooling-off period can run while the lock-up does.
10b5-1 plans for employeesAn ESPP purchase starts two clocks
A qualifying disposition needs two years from the offering date and one year from purchase. Selling sooner taxes the discount as wages; holding longer changes how the gain is taxed, not whether it is.

Our approach
How to use the calendar
Find your company, open the source, and work backward from the date. The steps below are the order we follow with clients who hold stock pay; the lead times are typical, not rules.
Confirm the row against your own documents
Open the linked filing and your signed lock-up or award agreement. The prospectus summarizes the standard form; your copy governs, and founders, large funds and directors often run on different schedules.
Build the lot list and a sell rule
List every lot with its acquisition date and basis, then write down what you will do with a release: a fixed share, a price floor or a specific cash need. A rule set in advance holds up better on the day than one improvised in it.
Check the window and any trading plan
Ask the plan administrator in writing which lots will show as released and whether your trading window will be open. If sales should run during a closed window, a Rule 10b5-1 plan has to be adopted at least 30 days ahead, where the company permits one.
Re-estimate the year’s tax
A sale or an ESPP purchase can move the year’s tax enough to matter. The final 2026 estimated payment is due January 15, 2027; paying at least 110% of last year’s tax, when last year’s adjusted gross income exceeded $150,000, generally avoids the underpayment penalty (IRC §6654).
Check back for changes
We refresh the calendar monthly: new IPOs from EDGAR, announced earnings dates, waivers and early terminations. The date at the top of the page is when we last checked every row against its source.

Questions
Questions about lock-up and ESPP dates
When does the SpaceX lock-up end?
For shares under the standard 180-day lock-up, the final release is December 8, 2026. Before then, up to 7% is released on October 9 and 7% on October 24 (tradable Monday, October 26), and up to 28% two full trading days after third-quarter results, a date SpaceX had not announced as of September 28, 2026. An extended group of large holders releases 10% on March 18, 2027, and the founder’s shares stay locked until June 12, 2027.
When does the Cerebras lock-up expire?
No later than November 9, 2026, day 180 after the May 13 prospectus. It ends sooner if Cerebras reports third-quarter 2026 earnings first: the lock-up then lifts at 6:00 a.m. Eastern on the second trading day after the release. Staged releases of up to about 19.4 million shares each fall on September 30, October 14 and October 28.
Does a lock-up expiration mean I can sell that day?
Not necessarily. The expiration removes only the underwriters’ restriction. Current employees are also bound by the company’s insider trading policy, and a date between quarter-end and earnings often lands in a closed window. When day 180 falls on a weekend, the agreement’s wording decides whether sales start the trading day before or after. Confirm with the plan administrator which of your lots are released.
Can a lock-up end earlier than the date shown?
Yes, in three ways. Underwriters can waive a lock-up at any time. Some agreements end early if the scheduled date falls in a blackout period: the X-Energy and HawkEye 360 lock-ups ended on September 1 and 2, 2026 for that reason. Others tie the end to an earnings release, as Cerebras and Bending Spoons do. We check company 8-K filings for these changes each month.
When is the next Apple ESPP purchase date?
Under the plan document as amended November 6, 2024, the current offering period ends on the last business day of January, which is January 29, 2027, and shares are bought then. The next offering period starts February 1, 2027. The plan lets the administrator set other terms, so your enrollment materials are the final word.
Where do the dates come from, and how often are they updated?
Each IPO date comes from the company’s final prospectus on SEC EDGAR, Form 424(b)(4), and each ESPP date from a plan document, proxy statement, prospectus or annual report. Every row links its source. We re-check the calendar monthly, add a new IPO only after reading its filing, and leave off any date we cannot confirm.
